The rc scripts download and transform EDICT2, a
(comprehensive) Japanese dictionary for use with
the patched dict(1) provided in src/.

src/adict.c is a modified adict with support for
non-ASCII characters in Acme window tags.

src/^(dict.diff dictd.c) are modifications to
dict(1) that allow the application to (a) read
simple and common dictionary and index file
formats (due to Andrey Mirtchovski) and (b) read
EDICT2 (je in source) after being transformed into
this format, with a juxtaposed index file created,
using the rc scripts provided in ../.

src/mkdictd.c is a utility provided for
convenience, made by Andrey, to make the
aforementioned index files; to be used with the rc
scripts in ../ for making use of EDICT2.
