Some day, \fBpnmscale\fR will probably become an alias for \fBpamscale\fR. .LP You can use the \fBpamscale\fR documentation for \fBpnmscale\fR, considering the following differences: .IP \(bu \fBpnmscale\fR options are a subset of \fBpamscale\fR's, as documented above. .IP \(bu \fBpnmscale\fR always assumes the input is linear, as \fBpamscale\fR does when you specify its \fB-linear\fR option. .IP \(bu \fBpnmscale\fR cannot process PAM images. .LP
